The sacrament of baptism is an outward and visible sign of the grace of God. Through baptism a person is joined with the universal church, the body of Christ. In baptism, God works in us the power of forgiveness, the renewal of the spirit, and the knowledge of the call to be God's people always.
Although we are meeting safely each Sunday at 10:30 am, we also record our service and post it to our Facebook page and to this website. Please join when it is convenient for you.
Call the office to talk to the pastor concerning this topic.
What to Expect
Sunday School has resumed. We safely gather at 9:15 am followed by our service at 10:30am.
We're casual. Come dressed as you are. It is always more important to God and to us that you are here to worship and what you wear is not important.
We're relational. Our messages are about life and how to build a better one through God's guidance and word. Pastor Tim calls it a "lunchbox" message because you can pack it up and take it to work with you all week long.
We're involved. Peace Church is part of and a reflection of our community. We are involved and get involved with the needs and activities of Gladbrook.
We're multi-generational. All ages are reflected in the congregation. Our pastor spent years as a youth pastor and trainer of youth pastors. Teens and their spiritual growth are important to Peace Church.
We're Uplifting. Don't expect a boring service and a spiritual let-down. You will leave refreshed and ready to face the challenges of the week.
